Help & Guide

A quick walkthrough of how to use the Westside members app. Questions? Email josephwcook@gmail.com.

Signing in

Open the app and choose one:

• Continue with Google — one tap if you use a Google/Gmail account.
• Email me a sign-in link — enter your email, then click the link we send you. No password to remember.

The sign-in email comes from "Westside church of Christ." If you don't see it, check your spam folder.

Waiting for approval

The first time you sign in, you'll see a "pending approval" message. This keeps the directory private to our congregation. A church administrator approves you, usually quickly — and you can fill in your details while you wait.

Setting up your profile

1. In Your entry, tap Choose photo to add a picture (a clear headshot is best).
2. Fill in your name, household/family, phone, address, and birthday. Everything except your name is optional.
3. Tap Save my entry.

Adding your address places you on the member map and makes it easy for others to get directions.

Using the directory

• Search by name, family, phone, or email.
• Turn on Group by family to see households together.
• Tap a phone number to call, an email to write, or an address to open directions in your maps app.
• Scroll to the Member map to see where members are; tap a pin for their name and directions.

Your data & privacy

The directory is visible only to signed-in, approved members. You're always in control of your own entry:

• Download my data — save a copy of your information.
• Delete my account — permanently remove your profile. This can't be undone.
